It is with much sadness that I inform you all that it appears that ex Renfrew chess player Gordon MacArainn has been killed in an accident.
I can not actually confirm this as it was posted on the Chess Scotland message board by Donald Wilson.For more information check with the CS site. Very nice man indeed.

Gordon was a tough competitor and a true sport, a really upbeat guy. Sad news indeed.
