2007

Wednesday 26th September Cumbernauld v Dunfermline

2008

I've added the above to the calendar.

Just a wee question, purely out of interest and no criticism implied anywhere. How come the matches are played in two fortnightly bursts in September and April? Is it to avoid dark nights, winter weather etc.? The reason I ask is that if someone happened to be on holiday, or otherwise unavailable for that fortnight, then you lose a player for three matches.

It was decided at the AGM a couple of years ago when we were considering withdrawing from the Central League.
It was to avoid travelling in the winter and to prevent fixture conjestion with matches in the other leagues. The risk of not having a player available for 3 matches is just one we have to accept.
