We are now into the final countdown for the Scottish Championships. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I can participate in the Championships without the usual travel problems. Having said that the Championships that I have entered recently have not been too much trouble really.
Stirling, Edinburgh, Hamilton and Troon with Troon being the furthest to travel to. It will be such a treat to have it on our doorstep for a change.
Well done Ronnie Wallace and N_L_C and everyone else involved in bringing this event to our humble little town. It's just a pity that many Cumbernauld players are not taking advantage of this rare and unlikely to be repeated opportunity. I would just like to wish all our players who are participating the best of luck in their chosen event.
