I would like to congratulate Ian Marks for his solid performance in the Dundee Open. Notably his holding Stephen Mannion to a draw and finishing on THREE points.

ps your presence was missed in our Glasgow League Match against Bellshill when we only escaped with a 4-4 draw.

Just read this - thanks! <blushing> Steve and I both missed chances; I had a good chance to go for a win near the end but chose a less incisive continuation. Draw was a fair result. I also missed a winning line in rd 4, but, well, they say these things even themselves out over a season.
