Thought people might be interested in representing us at one of the following sessions?
1. FREE TRAINING SESSIONS ON NEW PROTECTION OF VULNERABLE GROUPS (SCOTLAND) ACT FOR DISCLOSURES
The Volunteer Centre in partnership with CRBS has arranged a series of Training Sessions for volunteer-involving organisations requiring Disclosure checks and informing about the new Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, which will become law in 2010. CUMBERNAULD AND NORTH AREA TRAINING SESSION
Tuesday 27 October 2009 | 9am-12.30pm | |
I notice that most of these sessions take place during the working day, which could easily make it difficult for the likely target audience to get time off work to attend. (On the bright side, none is scheduled for a Wednesday evening, the time of week when everything takes place! Kudos!)
Not being negative; just making a wee point.
Of course, retirees like me have all the spare time in the world and could easily go along!? Don’t believe it. As the sage observed, when you retire, you wonder how you had time for everything else when you were working. |
