Kudos to Lisa on being selected for the course!
OTOH, confound it that it means she can't make the simul. Would have wanted as many of the distaff side as poss. out for Keti. |
I believe that Garry Kerr wants to play if there is a spare place?? |

Tonight's results:
Andrew Carruth 1 John Pearston 0
Paul Black 0 Ian Marks 1
Having rubbernecked as the games unfolded during the summer, I am certain that as people gained more experience of competitive play the standard of play improved. For that alone the event was worth it. My thanks to all of you who turned up regularly to play. |

Hi y'all,
I've sent the results of our rating tournament in for grading. If anyone's interested (I know you are!), here are the tournament rating performances (i.e. basically your grade on the basis of this one event):
Ian Marks 1899
George Thomson 1520
John Pearston 1278
Andrew Carruth 1213
David McColl 1125
Lisa Flaherty 1088
David Flaherty 887
Paul Black 815
Ronnie only played one game; not enough for a TRP. |

| The data for the summer rating tournament have been uploaded to the Chess Scotland website. You can find it by clicking on the online grade link on the CS homepage, ditto the next page, then entering your Pnum or name in the appropriate box. Scroll down your own page and it should be there. |
