Tonights home match in the Central U1500 Cup was sadly lost to Stirling.
Here are the details.

Cumbernauld____________________1.5-3.5__Stirling
We appeared to be going through as Derek seemed to be in Control as his opponent had to find six moves in about a minute. Sadly a slight positional error handed the Victory to the Travelling side.
A very tough match for Lisa and David to step into, they both deserve credit for performing so well in the circumstances against very tough opposition. Another good win for Robert Kelso and a reasonable draw for me. Note not an early draw, a total locked position,King and Four Pawns against King and Four Pawns draw. |

It's not a knock-out cup but a round-robin so we
still have a match away to Dunfermline on Mon 21st Apr. |
