Talking of industrial blowers Ian we were there last night. At least you can get a free cup of Tea!!
David Ross called in sick at four thirty and I then spent the next two hours trying to find a replacement. As you can see I never managed to get one.

I probably should have lost my game I had about one minute more than Lawerence in an inferior position. I think he feared losing on time and besides he only needed a draw. I looked at my position when I got home and saw only slight chances for him and not much for me so I'm happy with a draw. I'm not over the moon about losing the match, however if you start the match one player short then it's always a bit of an uphill struggle. |

Considering how cold it was at hamilton I am not surprised we had difficulty getting players I am afraid that wooly hats and winter jackets are not conducive to good chess. _________________ Robert |
